Three eighth graders football players, Colton Spicer, Bryce Chestnut, and Caleb Brown have given their best to the team this year. Spicer has had a very positive impact on the team this season. Spicer’s family members have pushed him to play football. “My brothers motivate me to keep going because they are very successful,” he says.
Bryce Chestnut, another player, says, “overall the season wasn’t what we hoped for.” Despite that, Chestnut was very driven to finish the season strong, even with his injury. Chestnut’s dad encouraged him to work hard and taught him “coach perspective”.
Player, Caleb Brown also said, “The season wasn’t so good, but our team worked hard and did good.”
All football players have enjoyed this season despite the losses, and they are enthusiastic about their next football season as freshmen in high school.
